Funeral services for Charles “Bo” House, 62 of Jonesville, LA were held at Utility Baptist Church in Jonesville, LA on Saturday, May, 4, 2024 at 10AM with Bro. Dusty Robertson officiating. Interment followed at House Family Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. The family received friends at Utility Baptist Church on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 5PM until 8PM.
Bo went to be with our Lord on May 1, 2024 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on Tuesday, November 21, 1961 in Jonesville, Louisiana. Bo was a member of Utility Baptist Church and spent his life farming alongside his Dad, Burley, and later his son, Ethan. He served on the Catahoula Parish Police Jury, Catahoula Parish School Board and the NRCS Conservation Board. Bo loved to farm, move dirt, raise cattle, drill for water, have his wife cook for him, and spend time with his family.
He was reunited in death with his parents, Burley and Wynonna House.
Left to cherish his memory are wife of 41 years Becky House; children, Beth Ainsworth (Jesse), Jessica Wiley (Bubba), Ethan House (Holli); as well as grandchildren, Jaxon Meyers, Olivia Ainsworth, Alanie Ainsworth, Emry Claire Wiley, Ella Grae House, and Katie Mae House, sister, Gayle LaPrairie (Darrell), Aunt, Betty House Walker, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Those honoring Bo as pallbearers were Marcus Evans, Jonathan Smith, Dewitt Carpenter, Bodie King, Mike Davis, Chris Freeman, Kenny Creel, and Mike Beach.
Honorary pallbearers were Conley Manning, Adron Walker, Chester Cooper, Larry Creel, Bobby Creel, Jimmy Wilmore, Mike Alexander, Jerry Windham, Cobby White, Alan Taylor, Zane Caruth and Ronnie King.
The family would like to thank friends for the outpouring of love and Enhabit Hospice for the care during this time.
