The fourth annual Four Rivers Balloon Festival will begin this Friday evening. Gates will open on at 4 pm and will continue until 10 pm with vendors, food, live music, a balloon glow and tethered balloon rides.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has closed all roads on Big Lake Wildlife Management Area (WMA) due to flooding.
Once the water recedes, LDWF will inspect, repair and reopen these roads once they are determined to be safe for travel.
