  Anna Borne, speech language pathologist, recently spoke to Journey to Careers students at Harrisonburg High School. Borne told students about her path from Harrisonburg High School to LA Tech, and eventually back to her hometown of Harrisonburg.

Texting and driving accidents are the leading cause of death for teens, and it is the cause of more than half of road accidents  in the United States. In an attempt to make roads safer Louisiana state government has been actively passing texting and driving  and increasing fine.

 The Annual Martin Luther King Celebration will be held on Monday January 20th 2020. As we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, we invite and encourage everyone to come and be a part of this great day.

  The First Baptist Church of Winnsboro will host a community-wide event featuring a Texas singing group, The Steel Magnolias, who will present a fully choreographed concert of Southern Gospel music on Saturday morning, January 11, 2020, at 10:30 a.m.
