In March Block High School participated in Kick Butts Day, a nationally recognized day of activism that empowers young people to speak up and seize control against tobacco products. Presenters from Almost Home warned students of the dangers of tobacco products, including vaping. Block joined with students across America to recognize Kick Butts Day and was one of 53 schools in seven school districts in Central Louisiana participating in activities with funding from a Healthy Behaviors School District Partnership Grant from The Rapides Foundation.
