Harrisonburg Lady Dawgs jumped out to an early lead on senior recognition over Ebarb and took home a 12-4 victory on Tuesday, April 16th. Lady Dawgs scored on a walk by Jessi White in the first inning, a walk by Morgan Estis in the first inning, a walk by Hannah Tolar in the first inning, a single by Cameron Tiser in the second inning, a single by Loren Cater in the second inning, a home run by Estis in the second inning, a single by Abbey Hardie in the second inning, and a double by Macy Taylor in the second inning. Lady Dawgs secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the second inning.

Harrisonburg batters contributing to the big inning included Tiser, Cater, Estis, Hardie, and Taylor, all driving in runs in the frame. Leah Keith earned the victory in the pitcher's circle for Harrisonburg Lady Dawgs Varsity. She surrendered four runs on ten hits over five innings, striking out five and walking zero. White threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Harrisonburg Lady Dawgs hit one home run on the day. Estis went deep in the second inning.

On Saturday, April 20th, ranked 6 Harrisonburg Lady Dawgs weathered a scare by ranked 3 Saline in the fifth inning where Lady Dawgs coughed up four runs but still won big 15-4.

Harrisonburg Lady Dawgs fired up the offense in the first inning, when an error scored one run for Harrisonburg.

Lady Dawgs notched six runs in the fifth inning putting the pressure on, lead by a walk by Abbey Hardie, a single by Loren Cater, an error on a ball put in play by Cameron Tiser, and a double by Hannah Tolar. Jessi White got the win for Harrisonburg Lady Dawgs. She lasted five innings, allowing six hits and four runs while striking out one and walking one.

Harrisonburg socked one home run on the day. Morgan Estis went for the long ball in the first inning. Lady Dawgs totaled eight hits. Cater, Tolar, and White each managed multiple hits for Harrisonburg Lady Dawgs.

The Lady Dawgs will now travel to the Allstate Sugar bowl/LHSAA Softball State Tournament at Frasch Park in Sulphur, LA to face ranked 2 Calvin in the Semi-Finals on April 26 at 11:00 on Field 20. Good Luck Girls!
