Rush game wins

Everything clicked for the Bears in game seven vs the Logansport Tigers. The Bears exploded offensively as they put 544 yards and 52 points on the board while the defense held the Tigers just 8 points.
If you can run the ball, then you will more than likely win the game. Block had two running backs that ran for over 200 yards. Raymond Plummer rushed 230 yards on 18 attempts and Cameron Everett carried for 210 on 10 attempts.
Trevor Vault threw the ball only four times. He completed 2 of 4 for 68 yards. Vyn’Quez O’Steen completed one pass for 18 yards.
Defensively, the Bears allowed only 8 points to the Tigers and those came late in the fourth quarter, and Block had a lot of their younger players in to gain some experience.
The Bears created three turnovers, all coming in the form of interceptions. Raymond Plummer, Shaverick Williams, and Kelvonte’ Scott were the Bears to pick off the ball. Taylor Perron-Krause added 8 solo tackles and led the team.

Ground n’ pound

An away game for the Bears that featured the Gators of Northwood-Lena turned into a Gator feast for the Bears. The Bears racked up 328 yards on offense, and all of those were on the ground while the Bears ran away with 40-0 victory.
Raymond Plummer had 153 yards with two touchdowns, Cameron Everett had 92 yards with two touchdowns, and Trevor Vault picked up 71 yards with a touchdown.
Enough about the offense though because it’s about the defense. Game seven saw the Bears give up 8 points and this game they didn’t allow any.
Taylor Perron-Krause had 11 solo tackles and added 8 assists. Aaron Calcote had 10 solo tackles while adding 4 assists as well as a sack. Shaverick Williams added an interception.
