Funeral services for Michael "Sheep" Hedrick, 45, of Deville, LA will be held at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 1PM with Bro. Kenneth Wilkinson and Bro. Donald Money officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.

Stewart Payne Hardie

Services for Stewart Payne Hardie were held at 1PM, Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Utility Baptist Church, Jonesville, LA with Rev. Jerry Sharp and Rev. Dustin Robertson officiating.  Interment followed at McFarian-Gurie Cemetery, Jonesville, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Stewart Payne Hardie, 48, was born August 20, 1971 and passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at his home. He was a man of many traits and lived life to the fullest.  
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Michelle Hardie of Jonesville; three sons, Payne Hardie of Jonesville, Cody Herrington and wife Victoria of Monroe, LA, and Joshua Herrington of Sicily Island, LA; daughter, Heather Burlew and husband Paul of Jena; seven grandchildren, Laken Burlew, Levi Burlew, Braxton Burlew, Blayne Herrington, Vivianne Herrington, Rosalyn Herrington and Kamden Herrington; mother, Aldis Boone of Jonesville; father, Cloyd Hardie and wife Betty; two sisters, Stacy Rutledge and husband Kevin of Jonesville, LA and Summer Hance and husband Matt of Groveton, TX; brother, Stephen Hardie and wife Tena of Jonesville; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Dale Reeves, Jaken Rutledge, Brice Davenport, Greg Spinks, Dewayne Reeves and Michael Reeves. Honorary pallbearers were Edward Neal, Bobby Stafford David Cockerham and Bryon Poole.

Dorsie Lee Beech

Services for Mrs. Dorsie Lee Beech were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 28th, 2020 at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena with Reverend Byron Norris officiating. Burial followed in the Heard Cemetery in Manifest under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
Mrs. Beech, 87, of Trout was born June 7th, 1932 in Oretta and passed from this life on January 25, 2020. She loved traveling and fishing. When she was home, she liked to watch old westerns, listen to bluegrass, and especially play moon with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Beech; father, Edward Lee Parker; mother, Flora Mae Koonce Parker; sons, Tim Beech and Bruce Beech; daughter, Linda Sue Beech; brothers, Freety Parker and Vernon Parker; and sister, Janelle Bates.
Those left to cherish in her memory include her daughter, June Gann (Scotty) of Jena; brothers, Arthur Parker (Alice Mae) of Sulphur, Johnny Parker (Sylvia) of Sulphur; five grandchildren, Scott Gann (Liz) of Columbus, Georgia, Rocky Gann (Christina) of Waukegan, Illinois, Jacob Beech (Rachel) of St. Helens, Oregon, Erin Coons (Tim) of Marysville, California, Melissa Trenn (Lisa) of Jonesville; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
  Serving as pallbearers were Scotty Gann, Scott Gann, Tracy Beech, Tim Powers, Mike Barnes, and Monty Smith.
