Senior Bulldog Noah Odom drove in seven on two hits to lead Harrisonburg Bulldogs Varsity past Arcadia 23-5 on Saturday, April 20th. Odom drove in runs on a in the first, a double in the second, and a single in the fourth. Harrisonburg Bulldogs earned the victory on senior recognition night. 8th Grader Hayden Alexander earned the win for Harrisonburg Bulldogs. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out six and walking one. 8th graders Brennan Keen, Odom, and Senior Braxton Tiffee all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
Two Bulldogs smacked two back-to-back home runs on the day. Junior Braden Hammons had a homer over right field, and 8th grader Jacob Bradford had a left field dinger in the first inning. Harrisonburg Bulldogs had ten hits in the game. Senior Avery Smith, Senior Noah Odom, Senior Braxton Tiffee, and Junior Braden Hammons each collected two hits to lead Harrisonburg Bulldogs. Bulldogs didn't commit a single error in the field. Junior Dylan Alexander had 13 chances in the field, the most on the team.
The Bulldogs finished regular season play ranking 3rd in class C. They earned a Bi-District bye and will play the winners of Evans and Grand Isle in Regional play.
