Another sad sight for fans of Sicily Island as the Tigers dropped their 5th straight game. This past Friday night Delhi got the best of the Tigers and came out with a low score of only 6 points, but Sicily Island got nothing on the board in this one.
With the 6-0 win it gave Delhi their first win in district play meanwhile the Tigers are now 0-4 in district play and are really feeling the weight of the losing streak.
Sicily Island is now next to last in Class 1A District 2 rankings just above a winless Tensas team.
The Tigers tallied up only 83 yards of offense, all of which were rushing yards.
Defensively Zavier Ramirez lead the team with 7 tackles. Gage Cross, Montrell Jackson, and Xavier Bates all tied for 2nd with 6 tackles. Jackson also added one INT.
Sicily Island (2-5, 0-4) will travel north again this week to Ruston where they will take on Cedar Creek (5-2, 3-1).
