Students, faculty and staff of Block High School gathered with friends and family of Alice Woods last Friday to celebrate her memory. Woods spent 23 years at BHS, where she was famous for her homemade rolls and her encouraging words. Candles were lite in memory of Woods, testimonies about her life and a second line jazz march ended the ceremony but the memories of Ms Woods will last forever....
