Town of Jonesville opened Armory for warming station during last weeks cold weather freeze

A blast of winter weather hit Catahoula Parish last week. Predictions of an extended period of below freezing, dangerous temperatures closed businesses and schools.Although the heavy snow was south of the parish, light snow covered the ground.
