Registrar of Voters, Donna Rutledge, issues the following statement to the voters of Catahoula Parish: “The Registrar of Voters office had been in the old location next to the Tax Assessor’s office since 1976 when the new addition to the Courthouse was built. Although it was a very nice space, with the interest in early voting increasing so much in the last few years, I felt the need for more space to better serve the voters. I am very thankful that the space became available and for the opportunity to move the office back where it began. Room 111 has been expanded over the years to take in the old Health Unit Office which will allow for the storage of election equipment and records in one place.
I am looking forward to serving the voters in the upcoming early voting period beginning September 30th thru October 7th, 8:30 am until 6:00 pm daily, excluding Sunday.”
