Funeral services for Martin Jackson Trunzler 69 of Jonesville, LA will be held at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church in Jonesville, LA on Thursday November 30th at 11AM with Father John Pardue officiating. Interment will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery, in Jonesville, La.
Martin was born on Tuesday December 8, 1953 to Basil Guise Trunzler III and Mamie Bethard Trunzler in Jonesville, LA.
He was a graduate of Northwestern State University (NSU) in Natchitoches, LA. While at NSU he obtained two degrees. After living in Houston, TX and Atlanta, GA for most of his adult life he retired and moved home to his family farm in Jonesville, LA.
Martin is preceded in death by his sister, Ann Trunzler Coker, brothers Basil Guise Trunzler IV,JoeTomTrunzlerand hisnephewJoeyTrunzler.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sister in law Mary Gene Bartmess Trunzler, his five nieces,Cat Coker (partner Charles Ambrogio) of Winnsboro, Candy Coker Owens of Jonesville, Laura Trunzler Batson (John) of Shreveport, Katie Trunzler Adams (John) of Jonesville, Sommer Trunzler Kimbrough of Jonesville and his nephew Basil Guise Trunzler V “Quint” of Shreveport.
