Sue (Coker) Amos

Sue (Coker) Amos, formerly of Jonesville, passed away November 26 at her home in Pasadena, Texas.

Sue was a compassionate and caring person to everyone she met. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all. She worked in several occupations throughout her life but her primary devotion was to her family. She was the mother of two beautiful daughters and she was known to occasionally act as if she was the mother of her younger sisters.

She was reunited with her parents, Bill and Arlene Coker, Sister: Francis Coker Wyles, Nephew: Tommy Wyles, Niece: Denise Wiggins McMillian, and Brothers-in-Law: Billy W. Spann, Doyle Wiggins and Gordon Wyles.

She is survived by her husband Jerry “Wade” Amos, Daughters, Michelle Kastric (Andy) of Crosby, Texas and Stephanie Phillips (Chris) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Grandchildren: Ira Alsip, Andrew Alsip, Shelby Phillips Smith, and Conner Phillips and 6 Great-grandchildren. Sisters: Diane Wiggins and Beverly Spann of Jonesville, and Elsie Coker of Houston. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, family and friends.

A memorial visitation was held December 2 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.
