Cedrick Duncan Sr. was born on March 14,1979 in Pineville, LA. to the union of James Sr. and Sally Duncan. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. Cedrick, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Cedrick was called home on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 16, 2023 at St. Mark Baptist Church at 2:00 PM. Internment will follow at Elmy Cemetery.
Cedrick attended Block High School and later was employed for many years at Champlain Furniture in Jonesville, LA.
Cedrick leaves to Cherish his memories: the mother of his children, Shirley Mae Duncan; one son, Cedrick Duncan Jr.; two daughters, Ce'Dreauna Duncan and Jasmaine Jones; thirteen sisters: Michelle Jefferson, Denise Jackson, Suianne Duncan, Danielle Duncan, Arielle Perkins, Mary Lea Walker, Frances Freeman, Lula Mae Allen, Beulah Ceaser, Maggie Davis, Deana Briggs, and Dorothy Mae Green; ten brothers: Fredrick Duncan, Michael Duncan, Scott Duncan, Jamie Duncan, Clarence Duncan, Joe Duncan, Joe Ray Duncan, Rufus Duncan, Anderson Duncan, and Albert Duncan; and three grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, great aunties/uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Cedrick was preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Sally Duncan, four brothers; Hardie Duncan, Richard Duncan, James Duncan Jr., and John Duncan and one special cousin/ friend Eric Duncan.
