Graveside service for James Calvin Cason were held Sunday, January 14, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton, LA with Bro. Curtis Smith officiating. James passed away peacefully on December 22,2023 in Shreveport, LA at the age of 65. He was a self taught Master Mechanic who could fix anything.
He is preceded in death by parents Joseph ''Pete'' Cason Jr. and Catherine Cecile Smith Cason.
James is dearly missed and survived by sisters Debra Cason Weatherly( Jimmy) of Vidalia, LA.; Catherine Cason Thompson (Sonny) of Fayette, MS.; brother, Joseph ''Petey'' Cason, Ill (Nancy) of Greenwood, LA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
