Special elections tend to be lightly attended by the voters, but we have one coming up on December 7, 2024. The purpose is the authorization and dedication of a one cent sales tax. Fortunately, this particular tax will not increase our current tax burden. I’m not calling it a “renewal” because it is a different tax than what we had before; it just would not increase our current tax rate....
