Services for William Barry Rainey were held 10AM, Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church, Jonesville, LA with Bro. Joel Ford officiating. Visitation was from 6PM, Monday, February 10 until time of service. Interment was at Heard Cemetery, Manifest, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.
William Barry Rainey, 73, of Aimwell, LA passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at his residence. Barry lived for working with horses, pinning cows, hog hunting, and running dogs for deer. But above all, Barry’s greatest love was his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Louise Rainey; siblings, Vince Nicalosia, Buddy Rainey, Lucille Rainey, Douglas Rainey, Jerry Rainey, Doris McClure, and Juanita Rainey Ford; and granddaughter, Reagan Rainey.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 15 years, Rosa Rainey; children, William Todd Rainey and Melinda Deann Rainey; stepchildren, Trent, Lennie, Krystal, Hue, Wesley and Nicole; numerous grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Kyle Romero, Mason Bordelon, Ben Binkley, Trent Bordelon, Caleb Brown and Ryan Binkley.
Honorary pallbearers were Patrick Binkley, Dylan Binkley, Kevin Rainey, Mike Rainey, Scott Ford and Wesley Bordelon.
