Services for Deborah Knight Girod were at 1PM, Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Mayna Church of God, Mayna, LA. Visitation was from 10:30 AM until time of service at 1PM, Thursday, April 24th at the church. Interment followed at Palo Alto Cemetery, Mayna, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.
Deborah Knight Girod, 67, of Jonesville, LA, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA. She loved flowers, the outdoors, loved fishing, playing with her grandchildren, being able to care for her babies and loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Knight and Dorothy Knight.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, James Girod, Jr. of Jonesville; daughter, Christy G. Neal (Winston) of Jonesville; son, Terence Girod of Jonesville; two grandchildren, Aimee Girod and Alli Girod; brother, Micheal Kight of Brookhaven, MS; two sisters, Donna Hutchinson (Eddie) and Diane Lawhorne of Brookhaven, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers were Douglas Girod, Jr., Eian Girod, Heath McCaskill, Will Harris, Keith and Kevin Hutchinson.
Honorary pallbearers were Andy Mason and Eddie Hutchinson.
