Graveside services for Ellen Jeanette Marshall, 87 of Harrisonburg, LA were held at Heard Cemetery in Manifest on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM with Bro. David Mitchell officiating, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home - Jonesville.
Ellen Jeanette Marshall was born on Tuesday, October 26, 1937 in Winnsboro, LA. and passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025 in Harrisonburg, LA. She was a resident of Harrisonburg and a member of First Baptist Church of Harrisonburg for 58 years. Ellen lived her life serving the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Cullen Cowart; mother, Mae Belle Norris Cowart; husband, Allen Monroe Marshall; brother, Kenneth Joe Cowart; and sister, Althea Knapp.
Those left to cherish her memory is her son, Greg Marshall and his wife, Terri, of Jonesville, LA; daughter, Wanda Marshall of Gonzales, LA; brother, Chuck Isacsson and his wife, Naomi, of Honolulu, HI; sister, Iris Nelle McCoy of Shreveport, LA; three granddaughters, Lynette Taylor, Miranda Robinson and her husband, Bryan, and Conor Moroni and her husband, Brady; and two grandsons, Lyle Avery Parker and his wife, Amanda, and Philip Berry and his wife, Melissa. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
