Community Spotlight Tristan Langley
Everyday, there are several people who either work in the food industry or customer service. Unfortunately, there is a stigma that sometimes comes to play for either employment, whether it be "someone gave me attitude, they don't care" or "someone isn't fast enough". But this isn't the case for Tristan Langley of Mimi's Deli in Harrisonburg, LA. He is someone who treats every customer with respect and kindness, no matter the circumstances. All throughout the community, his smile has shined through.
Misty Teague:
There is a lot I could say about Tristan, but the one thing that really sticks out is his loving personality. When you call Mimi's Deli, he is always friendly and polite on the phone. He is always laughing, singing, and making sure that your day is good. He is wanting to do for others.
Nora Erwin:
Typically, Tristan will call the News Booster to take our order every week for delivery. I'll never forget the first time speaking with him over the phone because of how genuine he sounded. He never rushed the phone call or got impatient while I kept him on hold to see if anyone wanted to order in the office. It's not everyday to witness someone can be so warm and compassionate about their work and their customers. So thank you so much Tristan and please, never change. You have been such a great role model for people throughout the community and I'm so happy that you are being recognized for this. Thank you so much for your service and making our day brighter at the Booster!
