Services for Doris Marie “Keekee” Miller were at 12PM, Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church, Jonesville, LA with Rev. Joel Ford and nephew, Kenny Smith, officiating. Visitation was from 10AM until time of service at 12PM at the church. Interment followed at White’s Cemetery, Jonesville, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Doris was born on August 17, 1949, in Jonesville, LA and passed from this life at her home in Alexandria, LA. She worked for many years as the dedicated office manager for her husband, where her organizational skills and determination kept everything running smoothly. Doris had a big personality, she loved being connected to people, always knew what was going on, and never missed the chance to share news with those around her.
She valued friendship and fellowship, cherishing her lifelong friends Glenda Cooper and Peggy Book as well as many other close friends, who brought her joy and companionship through the years.
She was preceded in death by beloved husband, Tommy Miller; parents, Bob and Myrtle Wiley; in-laws, Johnny and Ioma Miller; brothers and sister- in-laws, Frank and Ruby Lea Wiley, Don and Ruthine Wiley, Billy Miller, Sue Miller, Gail Miller, and Ray Miller; nephews, Bobby Wiley, Donny Wiley, Mike Wilson and David Cooper.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving and devoted children, Lynnet Holloway of Alexandria, Robert “Bubba” Miller (Carrie) of Harrisonburg, LA, Bobby G. Miller (Paige) of Leblanc, LA; grandchildren, Amelia Holloway, Britany Thompson (Cutler), Kelsie Allen (Josh), Dalton Miller (Mehali), Rylee Perkins, Braiden Miller, Piper Miller, Tripp Miller and Tillie Miller; great-grandchildren, Logan Thompson, Maggie Thompson, Alivia Allen, Averie Kate Allen, Jentry Allen, Stetson Miller; brother and sister -in-laws, Johnnie Miller of Vidalia, LA, Marilyn Miller of Jonesville, LA, David Miller (Shelia) of Jena, LA, Terry Miller (Cindy) of Nebo, LA, Lisa Coleman (George) of Jonesville, LA, Renee Butts (Andy) of Jonesville, LA; nephews and nieces, Jeff Wiley (Balinda) of Larto, LA, Lucy Wiley of Jonesville, LA, Tammy Cooper of Jonesville, LA, Trudy Smith (Kenny) of Larto, LA and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bubba Miller, Bobby Guss Miller, Dalton Miller, Lee White, James Womack, and Charles Turnage. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Wiley, Logan Thompson, Braiden Miller, Tripp Miller, Stetson Miller, and Jentry Allen.
