Graveside services for Florene Bonner, 84 of Jonesville, LA were held at Jena Cemetery on Thursday, September 4th 2025, at 10AM with Casey Young officiating, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home - Jonesville.
Florene was born on Sunday, March 23, 1941 in Jonesville, LA and passed away Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Magnolia Village in Natchez, MS.
She is reunited with her parents, Jewel Smithson King, Sr. and Alice Levice Jeter King; husband, Jack Bonner; brother, Jewel Smithson King, Jr.; and sister, Florence Milton.
Those left behind to cherish Florene's memories are her son, Bobby Gene Studebaker, Jr. and his wife Ladonna of Rockport, TX; daughter, Kimberly Studebaker of Butte of La Rose, LA; grandsons, Zachary Arthur Brazda and his wife Lauren of Arnaudville, LA and Avery Paul Dubois, II; granddaughters, Gabrielle Leigh Chevrier and her husband Gregory of France and Adrienne Jewell Studebaker of Katy, TX; Aunt Faye Pevey of The Woodlands, Texas; brothers, Gene Austin King, Sr. and his wife Olga of Kerrville, TX, Authur Ray King and his wife Nancy of Ferriday, LA; sister, Mary Alice Poland and her husband Shep of Terre Haute, IN; four great-grandchildren Celia and Chloe Chevrier, Hallee Grace and Jolie Marie Brazda, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Those honoring Florene as pallbearers were her nephews, Charles Lamar Posey, Michael Gene Posey, Henry King, David King, Leigh King, Ross Poland, and Gene King, Jr.
