Funeral services for Billy Edwin Byrnes, 70 of Vidalia, LA were held at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 12 noon with Bro. Barry Brister officiating. Interment followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Natchez, MS, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Billy Edwin Byrnes was born on Monday, July 13, 1953 in Wisner, LA. and passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 in Vidalia, LA. He was a resident of Vidalia and a member of River City Bad Boyz Car Club. Billy enjoyed camping, music and watching football, but most of all, spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Byrnes.
Billy is survived by his wife, Linda Rider Byrnes of Vidalia, LA; daughters, Summer McJimsey and her husband Brian of Vidalia, LA, Rhonda Smith of Cutoff, LA and Tina Taliaferro and her husband Trey of Jonesville, LA; mother, Margie Herron Byrnes of Natchez, MS; brother, Bobby Byrnes of Monterey, LA; 5 grandsons, Brad Blocker, Zachery Riddick, Tommy 'Trey' Riddick, Brandon Thompson and Landon Thompson and 3 granddaughters, Tabatha Blocker, Amber Butler and Brittany Riddick, niece, Caitlin Holt and nephew, Josh Byrnes. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Those honoring Billy as pallbearers were Brad Blocker, Zachery Riddick, Trey Riddick, Brandon Thompson, Landon Thompson, and Josh Byrnes.
