The homegoing celebration for Cecilia Ann Myers Hoffman were held at First Baptist Church Sicily Island, LA on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 2PM. The interment followed immediately after to Highland Park Cemetery, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home. The family received friends from 11AM until service time at 2PM.
Cecilia Ann Myers Hoffman was born August 28, 1947 in Wisner, Louisiana and passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, at her home in Sicily Island, Louisiana. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Sicily Island. C-Ann worked for many years as a bookkeeper and tax professional. She loved the Lord and loved her family. C-Ann was an awesome aunt to many nieces and nephews who could always count on her to take their side. She enjoyed attending church and family events, spending time with her closest friends, Sadie Easom and Dorothy Williams, and caring for her beloved cat, Callie.
She was married to and is preceded in death by her loving husband, Glen “Pat” Dean Hoffman. She was a devoted wife, loving daughter, caring sister, and wonderful aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Louise Daniels Myers and Walter Ramsey Myers, Sr.; and one brother, John Daniel “Danny” Myers.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Walter Myers, Jr and wife Jackie Myers of Sicily Island; her sister Johnnye Mae Grubbs of West Monroe; her brother-in-law, Roy Nugent of Ferriday; her sister-in-law, Shirley Neal of Ferriday; and her special friends Sadie Easom and Dorothy Williams of Ferriday. She will also be missed by a host of nieces and nephews, other family members, and friends.
Pallbearers were Roy Allen Nugent, Standly Myers, Matt Myers, Mitch Grubbs, Chad Grubbs, Jacob Myers, Will Budemer, Johnathan Hebert, Jonathan Bicker, and Adam Taylor.
