Services for Cheristean “Teany” Holloway Mason were held Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 2PM, located at Harrisonburg 1st United Pentecostal Church, Harrisonburg, LA with Bro. Nathan Roark officiating. Visitation was from 5PM until 9PM, Tuesday, August 20th and from 12PM until time of service at 2PM, Wednesday, August 21st at the church under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.
Teany was born August 30, 1942 in Harrisonburg, LA and passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 in Jena, LA. She loved being a beautician and mowing her yard.
She is reunited with her husband of 60 plus years, Sam Morris Mason; their only son, Clarence Dewayne “Boo” Mason; her parents, Ora Floyd Holloway and Laura Olivia Henderson; brother, Luther Holloway; and sisters, Beverly Ready, Dean Garner and Diana Torrey.
Those left behind to cherish Teany’s memory include her brother, Hawk Holloway and wife Linda of Harrisonburg, LA; sisters, Olivia Vidrine and husband Gerald of Brusley, LA, Theresa Ashley and husband Danny of Winnsboro, LA; granddaughter, Bree Netherland and husband Tyler of Jena, LA; grandson, Derick Mason and fiancé, Dawson Vinson of Harrisonburg, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
