Doris Price Miles, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed from this life on July 22, 2024. She was 96 years old, born March 16, 1928 in Sicily Island, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Faye and Father Blanchard; husband, W.C. Miles; sons Steve, Gary, and Herman Ray; brothers Ralph and Junie.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children Martha and husband J.T. Ashley, Jamie and wife Diane Cader, Gwen and husband Bob Shelton, Allen and wife Cathy Cader, David and wife Susan Cader, Marianne, and Vickie; her three sisters, one brother and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Although 96 years seems like a long time, it pales in comparison to the gift of eternal life. Those of us fortunate enough to have known her will miss her extraordinary sense of humor and sweet smile.
