Services for Edna H. Wiley were held at 1PM, Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Larto Apostolic Church, Larto, LA with Rev. Ronnie Wiley officiating. Visitation was from 12PM until time of service at 1PM, Saturday, November 2nd at the church. Interment was at Nichols Cemetery, Larto, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.

Edna H. Wiley was born to Mable and Lester Hardie on May 23, 1934, in Jonesville, LA. She passed away on October 28, 2024, at her home in Jonesville, LA. She grew up on the Ouachita River living in a small houseboat along with nine other siblings.

Edna worked as a waitress and cook her entire adult life and loved to fish. She also loved anything to do with gardening and working in her yard. She loved to be outside doing something with her flowers every day that she could. Even when she could do longer move around, she enjoyed sitting on the porch and looking at all the flowers. She also enjoyed a good garage sale and rooting on the New Orleans Saints. She had a fun- loving spirit that will be missed by so many.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father; daughter, Cathy Wiley; son, Billy Wiley; granddaughter, Heather Glass; great granddaughter, Estee Gober; brothers, Son Hardie, Butch Hardie, Wilbur Hardie, and Jodie Hardie; sisters, Geraldine Hardie, Shirley Talbert, and Julie Lucas.

Survived by her son, Larry Wiley of Jonesville, La; granddaughter, Christy Butler-Ponder of Orange, Texas; grandson, Brian Butler of Magnolia, TX; Ashley Parker of Jonesville, LA, B.J. Wiley of Jonesville, LA, Sarah Wiley of Jonesville, LA, and Jesse Wiley of Jonesville, LA; and 25 great- grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Nathan Wiley, Chase Wiley, Ethan Wiley, Michael Wayne Parker, Justin Parker, and Cole Boudreaux. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Wiley, Jesse Wiley, Brian Butler, BJ Wiley, and Michael McCallon.
