A memorial service honoring James C. Boothe will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 11 AM at Rosin Creek Pentecostal Church with Rev. Tommy Cotton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Boothe Cemetery in the Harrisonburg Hills.
James, 67, of Harrisonburg, was born April 3,1958 and passed from this life on June 29, 2025, at home surrounded by loving friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emmie Boothe; brothers, Charles Lee, Leon, Ed, Kirby, Jimmy Dale, and John Alvis; sisters, Sue and Faye. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; son, James Boothe, Jr., (Bubbaman); daughter Brandy Boothe LeBeau; grandchildren, Haley Spears, Emma Boothe, Ace LeBeau, and Riley Booth; brother, Shelton; and sister Martha. James was a tree surgeon for several companies before going to work with Concordia Electric for the last 15 years. He loved deer hunting and fishing, but his favorite pastime was running his dogs. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and uncle and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
