Jamie was 63 when she went home to see her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at her residence in Lafayette surrounded by her loving family.
Jamie was a devoted wife, mother, and sibling. Jamie was born and raised in Jonesville, Louisiana. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM).
Though she had many hobbies and interests, Jamie’s true passion was her family. She was a loving wife, and mother, always putting her family first. Her steadfast faith in the Lord was a guiding light throughout her life.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 32 years, David Broussard; her daughter, Hannah Broussard; her sons, John and Benjamin Broussard; her sister, Cheryl Davison and her husband Howard; her sister, Myra Mathis and her husband Rick and her brother, Jay Wilson.
Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas J. Wilson and Altonette Carter Wilson.
