John started his oilfield career in 1959 with a company named ‘Yazoo Operators’ out of Natchez, Mississippi. He took to the oilfield industry and ran with it. He worked all over the world throughout the years. He retired, but not for long, when he became the owner and operator of his own oilfield trucking company called, Ducks Trucking. He worked for himself, driving trucks, for over 25 years. After retiring from that, he went on to be a gate guard also known as, site watch, in South Texas. He was never alone while working, and drug Aline every step of the way. She would occasionally let him take naps on the job while she kept watch. After he finally retired for good, they moved back home to their own ‘piece of heaven’ in Jonesville, Louisiana. He enjoyed watching westerns like Gunsmoke and anything to do with John Wayne. He was an LSU football fan and loved fishing any chance he got. He enjoyed spending time with his family and making memories with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
