Services for Lula Theresa Patten were held on July 11, 2024 at Lake Lilly Baptist Church, Sandy Lake, Louisiana with Brother Eric Peyton and Greg Patten officiating. Visitation was from 6pm until 10pm on July 10th and from 9am until time of service at 10 am on July 11th at the church. Interment followed at Heard Cemetery in Manifest, Louisiana under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Lula Theresa Patten, 82, of Jonesville, Louisiana passed away on July 6, 2024 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. Theresa Patten was a beloved, kind, caring wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. She was loved and cherished by her family and friends, and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father Davis E. Granger; her mother Francis L. Braase; daughter, Sonya Lee Caviness; brother, Billy Douglas Granger.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Edward Leon Patten of Jonesville; her sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Alice Patten of Coushatta, Louisiana, Buddy and Alicesha Patten of Versailles, Missouri, and Chopper and Charlotte Patten of Blanchard, Louisiana; siblings, Hilda Bariola (husband, Joe) of Kosciusko, Mississippi, and Henry Granger (wife, Mona) of Jonesville, Louisiana; grandchildren, Kylie, Erica (Scott), Kacie (John), Randee (Anthony), Hunter (Maura), Nathanial (Rennie), Jake (Sydney), Justin (Paige), Macy (Darren), Laney (Justin), Madison (Broc), 12 great grandchildren, Tracie and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Todd Bariola, Hunter Patten, Nathanial Patten, Jake Patten, Justin Granger, and Augustus Spring.
Honorary pallbearers were her granddaughters and great-granddaughters.
