Zion Cemetery in Aimwell, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home.

Marilyn Marie Posey Andrews, 68, of Aimwell, Louisiana, entered into her reward Friday, March 7, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 20,1956, in Jonesville, LA, one of four children and the only daughter of Alvie and Bobbie Nell Posey. Marilyn was a devoted wife, nurturing mother, doting grandmother, thoughtful friend, caring educator, and most importantly, a faithful, life-long Christian. She had a heart of gold and gave to anyone in need without question. She enjoyed singing in church when she was younger and always steadfastly lived for the Lord. Marilyn always had a purse full of candy, namely Mentos, which she would pass out to the many children who visited her pew before service (and sometimes during service if their parents weren’t watching). She also loved to shop, vacation, and travel with family and friends and she knew Branson like the back of her hand.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Nell Posey.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 50 years, Paul Andrews; her children, Amanda Fuqua and Robin Andrews (Kylie); her grandchildren, Jeremy Fuqua (Megan), Ethan Fuqua (Darby), Avery Fuqua, Ragen Fuqua, Ryan Fuqua, Audrey Robertson (Kaleb), and Seth Andrews; her great-grandchildren, Harper, Silas, Hadley, Hattie, Kason, Turner, and Anderson Fuqua; her father, Alvie Posey; her brothers Lionel Posey (Susan), Mark Posey (Ruth Ann), and Terry Posey (Melissa), and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were her grandsons Jeremy Fuqua, Ethan Fuqua, Avery Fuqua, Ragen Fuqua, Ryan Fuqua, and Seth Andrews. Honorary pallbearers were her brothers Lionel Posey, Mark Posey, and Terry Posey.
