Services for Mary Ernestine Mason were at 11AM, Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at New Life Pentecostal Church, Manifest, LA with Rev. David Poole officiating. Visitation was from 10AM until time of service at 11AM Tuesday, August 19th at the church. Interment followed at Heard Cemetery, Manifest, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.
Mary Ernestine Mason, 82, of Harrisonburg, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 17, 2025. She was born in 1943 to Felton and Mae Lea Parker and was one of ten siblings.
She is survived by her sisters, Joyce Patten (Wayne), Carol Robertson (Hardy), and Ida Jo Parker (the late Donald), and was deeply loved by many nieces and nephews.
Mary cherished time spent with her children - LaDee, Tamara (Dave), and Ronnie (Amy), whose lives she enriched through her unconditional love, support and guidance.
She especially treasured her role as 'MiMi' to her fourteen grandchildren, Josy Poole (Beth), Cody Mason, Lauren Pacifico (Greg), Ryan Mason, Kaylee Ford, Taylor Wolf (Sarah), David Hoelscher, Caroline McFall (Sean), Hunter Beckley, and Crystal Chandler; and her eleven great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Mason, Parker, and Chanlee Poole, Arlo Pacifico, Alexa Killianski, Kayden Book, Carson Beckley, Bennett and Lainey Wolf, and Henry McFall, affectionately known to MiMi as 'Little Man.'
Pallbearers were Josy Poole, Ryan Mason, Mason Poole, Cody Mason, Parker Poole, and Sean McFall.
