Funeral services for Mary White Pentecost, 66 of Jonesville,LA were held at Pisgah Baptist Church on Sunday, November 05, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Bro.Ken Hoots and Bro. Mickey Hudnell officiating. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery, Manifest, LA, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home - Jonesville.
Mary Pentecost was born Friday, November 16, 1956 in Natchez, MS and passed away Thursday, November 02, 2023 in Jonesville, LA. She was a resident of Jonesville and a member of Pisgah Baptist Church. Mary has owned and operated Whites Mobile Homes of Jonesville since 1978.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford White and Jennie Belle Harper, husband, Charles Pentecost and niece Casey White.
She is survived by her son, Jason Meyers and his wife Janet of Rhinehart, LA daughter, Tina Pentecost of Manifest, LA, son, Luke Pentecost and his wife Kandi of Harrisonburg, LA; granddaughters, Jaden Meyers, Carley Paul, Sophie Pentecost, Harper Pentecost and Tiffany Moss; grandsons, Daniel Moss, Colton Pentecost, Carter Pentecost, Jaxon Meyers, Steven Moss. and brothers, Ervin White and his wife Jan of Wildsville, LA and Danny White of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
Those honoring Mary as pallbearers were Jason Wright, John Wright, Drewitt Taylor, Drew Taylor, Chris Doughty and James Scott.
Honorary pallbearers were Russell White, Carter Pentecost, Bo Little, Jaxon Meyers, Colton Penetcost and Daniel Moss.
