Services for Merlene Brown Neal will be at 10AM, Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Good Road Pentecostal Church, Jonesville, LA with Rev. Chad Franklin officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM until 10PM, Wednesday, February 5th and from 8AM until time of service at 10AM, Thursday, February 6th at the church. Interment will be at Heard Cemetery, Manifest, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.
Merlene Brown Neal, 85, of Jonesville, LA, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025. She loved her family and church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William C. Brown and Audie Ford Brown; husband, William Morris Neal; son, Randy Morris Neal; and siblings, Dub Brown, Willie Lee Brown, Dale Brown.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Connie Bignar (Bo Jack) and Loretta Neal Belgard; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Annie Brown Jones, Darlene Brown Watson, Ricky Ford; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Justin Neal, Jacob Neal, Hayden Neal, Samuel Neal, Billy Jack Bignar and Dean Morace.
