Local and state political campaign contributions now available to public

Money is necessary for campaigns for candidates to play their part in the political process and voters are entitled to this information. The Campaign Finance Disclosure Act (R.S. 18:1481 et seq.) requires reports of campaign contributions and expenditures for candidates and political committees.
