Blighted property has affected Catahoula Parish for years, but recently the number of complaints received by the Catahoula Parish Police Jury (CPPJ) has increased. Overgrown weeds, tall grass, heavy brush, and physical conditions of buildings are not only an eye sore but can be dangerous.

Future nurses program camp slated at CLTCC

LSUA, LA-HOSA Future Health Professionals and CLTCC have partnered to offer a Future Nurse Camp July 15th through July 19th at the CLTCC Ferriday Campus.The five-day camp is for high school students 9-12 considering a career in nursing.
