Cuterebra are botflies (sometimes called warble flies) whose larvae can infest mammals. The condition of having Cuterebra larvae is called cuterebriasis.These flies lay eggs in environments near rodent or rabbit nests or burrows—vegetation, soil, mulch near those sheltered areas are common places.
