Northeast Louisiana Substance Abuse is free to use a committee of nonpartisan citizens selected by the Director of the organization. Selection of the review committee is left entirely to the discretion of the Director of NELSA.
Louisiana Sheirff’s scholarship program guidelines
The Louisiana Sheriffs' Honorary Membership Program will award sixty- four scholarships of a maximum of $1,000 each. This effort is a meaningful expression of the Program's confidence in, and respect for, education and training.
The 2024-2025 scholarship application is live! If you are a graduating senior/ jumper from any Catahoula Parish school, we encourage you to apply. These scholarships are for those students who do not plan to attend a 4-year university.
