The drug Tianeptine commonly known as “gas station heroin” has been unanimously passed by the Louisiana legislature to be banned in the state starting next month. The law also states it must be labeled as a controlled substance.

During the summer of 2019, we had one drop off patient at Catahoula Vet Clinic in our kennels. It was soooo hot outside. Typical Louisiana hot summer day. I heard a dog barking and asked about it. Staff said had to be our drop off because it was the only one in the clinic.

(pictured above), 45 years old of 803 Washington Street, Jonesville, was arrested July 9, 2024 by Jonesville Police Department (JPD). Duncan was charged with attempted second degree murder, cruelty to juvenile second degree, out of parish warrants and violation of a protective order.
