Biden Celebrates his “accomplishments” in the waning days of his presidency

These past few weeks, Pres. Biden has touted socalled successes of his Administration. The first involved his speech at the United Nations in which he highlighted his purportedly successful use of diplomacy to strengthen global democracy.

Special election coming

Special elections tend to be lightly attended by the voters, but we have one coming up on December 7, 2024. The purpose is the authorization and dedication of a one cent sales tax. Fortunately, this particular tax will not increase our current tax burden.

I had previously read Miracle at Philadelphia by Catherine Drinker Bowen. I recently read The American Miracle by Michael Medved. I was blown away by their recounting of our nation’s founding. The fact that both books include the word “miracle” in their titles is no coincidence.
