Everybody knows that I can't grow plants or flowers in the yard, in the house or in just a little pot on the desk. I am not a horticulturist by no means. I was always the one who went to work and Joe kept the yard and to be honest he really didn't like a lot in the yard so it worked out pretty good.

This past weekend we held a narcan giveaway in conjunction with a garage sale on Highway 84 in Jonesville. We are happy to say that we gave out six cases of narcan to people passing through from Mississippi or other parishes.

Millie Mattered Overdose and Addiction Advocacy is set once again to host the Louisiana Drug Epidemic Walk across the state of Louisiana.I started Millie Mattered in 2017 after I lost my 28-year-old daughter, Millie, to a fentanyl overdose.

Weekly Devotion

I have wrestled this week over this devotion and what I should write. Every week prior to this one, I had an idea early in the week what way I was going to go. But not this one. I have thought and prayed and still wondered, “God, what do I say”.

When is the baby due? Whether human or animal, we want that due date! We all know it is rare unless induced that anything is born on “the due date”. There are usually an average number of days listed as the number of days needed for a baby to develop but it definitely varies.
