The Fairbanks House was built in 1894 by Henry Fairbanks. He was married to Nettie Blackman and had two sons and one daughter, Henrietta Fairbanks, who was born on February 11, 1899. He went out to celebrate her birth and had fallen from his horse and died at his home three days later.

Last Chance for Spirits on the Hill 2024

Spirits on the Hill is this weekend and time is running out to get tickets. It will be held this Friday, November 1st and Saturday, November 2nd, 2024. Wagons will take the ticket holders on one of seven tours through the Harrisonburg and Cedar Ridge Cemeteries each evening.
