Raymond D Moore was scheduled to appear in open court before the Honorable Judge Kathy Johnson on charges of manslaughter.Moore was not present and not represented by counsel. Moore had domiciliary notice to appear. A bench warrant was issued with condition of holding Moore without bond.

Catahoula Parish may be on its way to making history if the police jury adopts an ordinance to enforce traffic violations by automated means. The ordinance would make Catahoula Parish Police Jury (CPPJ) the first governing body of a parish to issue photo citations.
