Early voting begins Saturday

Early Voting for the May 3rd Election will begin Saturday, April 19th and continue through Saturday April 26th, excluding Sunday April 20th. Voting hours are 8:30 am until 6:00 pm. daily at the Registrar of Voters Office, 301 Bushley St. Room 111 Harrisonburg.

- More than 100 students from Concordia, Catahoula, and Tensas parishes converged on the Ferriday campus of Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) on Friday, March 28 for the 2025 Youth Ag Career Field Day.

The shooting sports team went to the Long Range Alley Shooting Club near Shreveport, LA on March 7, 2025 to compete in the Modified Trap competition. Those competing were Tommy Ogle and Gemar Wiley in the Junior Division for ages 10-13.

Allison and Gemar Wiley are shown above with their new baby goats. Allison’s nanny gave birth to four babies in February. Although rare, all four babies were born healthy and are doing well. Exactly one week later, Gemar’s nanny gave birth to three healthy babies.
