District Five in the Town of Jonesville’s (TOJ) project “All Hands on Deck” was a success. With the help of Mayor Loria Hollins, TOJ employees, and volunteers, District Five launched the 2nd annual community initiative project last week.

The weather couldn’t have been nicer and the turn out was great at the first “Walk for Recovery“ event held in Jena Louisiana, organized by LaSalle Celebrate Recovery. People came from different areas of the state to participate, support, and offer resources.

West Nile Virus (WNV) is a viral infection that can affect horses, leading to serious neurological disease. The virus is primarily spread through the bites of infected mosquitoes. Horses can also be infected through other means, but mosquitoes are the main vector.
