The 2023 severe weather season was fairly active across Louisiana, with 34 total tornadoes reported across the state. Of those 34, there were 14 tornadoes reported across Northern Louisiana.

Concordia Electric rate increase to customers

Concordia Electric consumers are experiencing an increase on their bills. This is due to rising fuel costs, which are passed through from our power provider. Unusually low water levels on the Mississippi River have hindered the transportation of coal, which is used to generate our power.
