A high-speed chase that began in Jonesville last Friday ended when suspect wrecked his vehicle in Frogmore. A complaint was filed with Jonesville Police Department (JPD) pertaining to Vondell Hawkins, 36 of Ferriday.

Renovations to the Catahoula Parish Courthouse’s heating ventilation and air conditioning (hvac) are underway. Hendry Electrical Plus and Womack and Sons Construction Group are in the process of tearing out the ceilings to replace the unit.
