Catahoula Parish School Board (CPSB) appointed Candy Nolan Edmonds to serve as District One’s member in a special meeting, Tuesday, October 8, 2024. The appointment was necessary due the death of board member Dorothy Watson.

Downtown Jonesville gets new lights

DOWNTOWN JONESVILLE is lit up with bright bulbs thanks to donations made to Jonesville Main Street (JMS). As part of the Lagniappe process, JMS has hosted bingo and markets to draw visitors to the area. Friday night Ronnie Cox will be performing live downtown.
